Qualitas and Japan Airlines offer convenient healthcare services to air travellers

Qualitas Medical Group (Qualitas) has signed a collaboration agreement with award-winning carrier Japan Airlines (JAL) to provide and perform Covid-19 RT-PCR screenings and Covid-19 RTK screenings for JAL passengers travelling between Malaysia and Japan or any other international destination.

JAL passengers are now able to book their Covid-19 tests with Qualitas clinics across Peninsula Malaysia through the Qualitas Telehealth Hotline (012-500 7964 – available from Monday to Friday: 9AM -5PM and Saturday: 9AM-12PM) to enjoy a special discounted rate. The Qualitas Call Centre will assist JAL passengers to book an appointment for an RT-PCR and RTK test at any of the 30 selected Qualitas GP clinics located across Peninsula Malaysia.

A Qualitas doctor will verify both Covid-19 RT-PCR and RTK tests. Passengers who select the Covid-19 RT-PCR screening will receive a laboratory test report from an MOH-authorised laboratory as well as a Certificate of Testing for Covid-19 as required by Japan’s Ministry of Health. Passengers who select the Covid -19 RTK screening will receive a test report from the Malaysian National Public Health Laboratory (SIMKA) on the same day as the screening.

“Qualitas is very happy to work with JAL to offer air travellers the support they require to travel safely. This easy and direct digital access to required Covid-19 screenings will enable JAL passengers to comply with all health requirements as they travel from Malaysia to Japan or anywhere else in the world. JAL passengers will also have access to Qualitas clinics and GP doctors in Peninsula Malaysia,” said Dr Junaidi Ismail, Country Head of Qualitas Malaysia.

JAL and Qualitas will continue to work together as international travel resumes, to ensure that travel is as safe, comfortable and convenient as possible.
